Artist's Statment
Technology enables us to glow in the dark. I am curious how future generations will grow up in a world lit by screens. Painting my son in his skeleton pajamas reminds me of a fossil unearthed, ancient and new at the same time. It is unclear if this artificial glow is a contaminant or an otherworldly source of light.
