Using computer science to increase awareness of climate change.

Image Douglas Blank, computer scientist from Bryn Mawr College, as he works on an interactive sound installation about climate change. Participants can walk through a “sound field” to trigger notes corresponding to average global temperature from 1950 to 2100. There are several options for walking “into the future” that demonstrate how the increase in global temperature will depend on how quickly we stop burning fossil fuels. Pretty cool!
