An alternative to cutting trees for charcoal

Image Researchers from the D-Lab at MIT have come up with a method for converting agricultural byproduct to usuable charcoal in order to provide an alternative to cutting trees for cooking fuel. The new technologies they've developed are based entirely on widely available local materials. Learn more here.
